As you undoubtedly are already aware (or you wouldn’t be reading this right now), the site and accompanying blog are focused on design, engineering, procurement, and provisioning or integration of grid tie systems.
We live in times best described as “exciting” to keep a positive spin on things, but there is little doubt in most peoples minds about the negative impacts that come with remaining dedicated to traditional energy sources and delivery means. People are kind of funny about not enjoying the thought of giving their hard earned money away to pay an electric bill or any other energy related product for that matter. Thankfully, we have yet to see fuel prices as high as they got in 2008, and certainly no one is anxious for another dose of that mess!
Though the site name seems a bit obvious that we are focused on “Grid Tie Systems”; many products and services you may encounter on GridTieSystems.com or find in discussions on the grid tie blog could easily be adapted for off grid electric system integration as well.
